“Feed the People”

“Feed the people.”

Feed the People is a depiction of salmon in the net that helps feed our communities. When I was younger, I would travel with my yeah to the fishing hole that helped feed our families and communities for generations. He even said the fish travelled to Prince Rupert.

I would do the same with my Dad, but along the Skeena River and helped prep the fish to give to other families. Both instances show how our communities live off the salmon, and how important it is for us to meet the salmon along the water to feed our communities.
